Trainings

I write and deliver training for a wide variety of audiences: From counsellors and psychotherapists, GPs, social workers and teachers, to young people and adult mentors offering peer support. 

I have a particular interest in training psychological practitioners to work online and in safeguarding and suicide risk and self-harm intervention training. I also offer training packages on a range of other topics.

• Using Safety Plans Effectively in Online Counselling 

Additionally:

• co-writing and teaching an ACTO approved diploma in Online Counselling 
• a series of online safeguarding ‘drills’ delivered via Online Events over COVID lockdowns – where hundreds of online practitioners brought anonymised SG queries and case studies to explore best online practice ‘live’ in a supportive environment, designed to meet the needs of a growing contingent of newly online practitioners.

Consultancy

As an experienced safeguarding officer and therapeutic services manager, I offer a tailored consultancy service to small practices, charities and larger organisations.
